Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary

The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating the provision of client care by the counseling staff and for assuring adherence to the policies, procedures and activities necessary for effective treatment.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain communication with the Director of Clinical Services and Performance.

  • Attend regular supervision.

  • Ensures adherence and fidelity to existing curricula and treatment programs and assists in developing and implementing new treatment programs.

  • Performs, when necessary, appropriate clinical duties, including individual, group, family, crisis intervention, lectures, educational or skill groups, and relapse prevention counseling when needed.  

  • Performs case management duties on an as-needed basis.  

  • Functions as a positive professional center member by interacting therapeutically with staff, clients, families, visitors, and others while also participating in outreach and marketing activities. 

  • Participates in quality assurance process, including chart audits and utilization reports, identifying trends, needs, and recommendations  

  • Assist in coordinating schedule adjustment needs with the business office related to staff time-off requests.

  • Ensure care delivery meets state and federal regulations.

  • Monitor that relevant data collection surveys are conducted, ie) Point in Time Survey, Client Evaluation survey, Mental Health Evaluation Survey 

  • Collaborate with the business office manager and communicate with the COO when relevant regarding policy, procedural, or indicator-based issues in business office duties.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, have the ability to learn how to use and maintain Electronic Medical Records, and have proficient computer skills. Typing and repetitive motions.

  • Must meet in one of the following ways:

    • Master’s Degree and 3 years paid experience, with 2 years of it being direct treatment service.

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of paid full-time experience, with 2 years of direct treatment service.

    • CADC and 5 years paid full-time experience, with at least 2 years of it being direct treatment service.

  • Physical and emotional health adequate to perform duties.

  • Self-identified persons in recovery from a Substance Use Disorder must have a minimum of five years of sobriety from substances of abuse.

  • Must pass pre-hire requirements, including a criminal background check, UA, and TB test. 

  • Must be CPR certified within ninety (90) days of hire.

Work Environment

  • Working with substance use and mental health disorders. Employees work under typical office conditions.
